Hi Y'all, I am getting much better at weeding out the scammers from the people that really want to help. Of course, everyone is trying to make a living. Usually if you tell them you have no budget they leave you fast. If you are into being an author to make money you have to get a real publisher. They will connect you with legitimate editors and public relation experts.

If you are writing just to reach a few people or get your thoughts out there then self publishing is fine. You can choose to spend on marketing or not.
